My name is Dr. Lee Morand. I have had the sincere pleasure of working in the Greater Harrisburg area for over 20 years. I relocated to Harrisburg in 1990 after completing my undergraduate degree in Nutrition Pre-Med at Cornell University. I received my first Masters Degree from Shippensburg University. My second Masters Degree as well as my doctorate are both from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to guide my work with clients across the lifespan. I strongly believe and the research has shown that changing your thoughts does change your life. My primary focus with clients is to reduce symptoms by assisting clients in achieving skills that they can utilize in their professional, academic, and personal lives.
I recently purchased and having been restoring a grand old victorian on Main St. in Mechanicsburg, across the street from my practice affiliate- Dr. Kenneth Small. My primary reason for this purchase was to assist in growing the practice and providing a comfortable and inspiring place for adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples to acquire the skills the need to face life challenges.
