Ascorbic Acid: Vitamin C is a very powerful antioxidant and is needed for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. Antioxidants are nutrients that block the damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are made when the body breaks down food or when you are exposed to tobacco smoke or radiation. The buildup of free radicals over time is largely responsible for the aging process. Free radicals play a role in cancer, heart disease, and inflammatory conditions in the body. Our bodies are not able to make Vitamin C on their own, and we do not store Vitamin, therefore we need supplementation to support our bodies.

Usage: Antiviral, antibacterial, adrenal fatigue, wound healing, cancer support, seasonal allergies, can help increase absorption of iron in foods (helpful in anemia).  May also help manage symptoms of autoimmune disorders by stimulating glucocorticoid activity.

Trace Elements:

Essential minerals are vital to your overall health. Trace elements help you to maintain plasma levels of Zinc, Copper, Chromium, Manganese and Selenium, each benefiting the body in their own way. Zinc promotes a strong immune system, improves skin and eye health, enables growth and healing, and in men it can help with testosterone production.  Copper improves bone density and connective tissue, supports red blood cell production, and boosts energy. Manganese is helpful in boosting metabolism, reducing inflammation, supporting healthy bones, and preventing disease. Selenium acts as an antioxidant, boosts immunity, and prevents cell damage. Selenium is also needed for the activation of thyroid hormones.  Chromium aids in diabetes prevention as it regulates insulin and blood sugar levels.

L. Proline:

A non -essential amino acid that is synthesized from glutamic acid. It is essential component of collagen and its important for proper functioning of joints and tendons.

Usage: collagen and cartilage growth, keeps muscle and joints flexible, reduces sagging/wrinkling of skin

L. Lysine:

Lysine is an essential amino acid. That means it is necessary for human health, and that our body cannot manufacture it. We must get lysine from food or supplementation. Amino acids like Lysine are the building blocks of protein. Lysine is important for proper growth, and it plays an essential role in the production of Carnitine, a nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy and helping to lower cholesterol.

Usage: helps the body to absorb calcium, and it plays an important role in the formation of collagen (a substance important for bones and connective tissues including skin, tendon, and cartilage)

May assist in the in the prevention and treatment of herpes infections and cold sores. It may exert positive cardiovascular effects by blocking a lysine binding domain on lipoprotein(a). additionally, Lysine can cause vasodilation. May have effects on increasing muscle mass, lowering blood glucose and improving anxiety.

B6/Pyridoxine:

Vitamin B6, also called Pyridoxine, is one of the 8 B vitamins. All the B vitamins help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into Fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy in the body and help the body metabolize fats and proteins. It is also helpful in people with malabsorption issues like Crohn’s and Celiac disease since B Vitamins are mostly sourced through the diet.

B5/Pantothenic Acid:

B5 is used in our bodies to synthesis cholesterol and keep up the metabolic process. It is an essential nutrient required by the body to keep the enzymatic process going. Essential for generating energy and assisting in hormonal stimulation. B5 can also assist in skin and hair health, stress relief, adrenal fatigue, allergies, and plays an important role in cell turnover and cell regeneration.

B Complex:

Delivers a combination of five B vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6. B vitamins are important to your overall health and wellness, as they help improve how your body functions, boosts energy levels and increases cell production. Let’s breakdown the B’s:

B1 (Thiamine) “Anti-Stress” vitamin:

  • Helps body to make new cells and helps protect the immune system
  • Breaks down simple carbohydrates

B2 (Riboflavin) “Growth Vitamin”:

  • Helps in the RBC production and allows Oxygen to be transported and used in the body.
  • Works as an antioxidant fighting free radicals responsible for inflammation.

B3-(Niacin) “Anti-Cholesterol Vitamin”:

  • Helps regulate blood sugar by processing fat
  • Helps boost HDL (the higher the HDL, the lower the risk for heart disease)

B5- (Pantothenic Acid)- “Energy Vitamin”:

  • Helps with energy production by breaking down carbohydrates and fat
  • Helps promote healthy skin and reduce signs of aging (helping to retain moisture)

B6- Pyridoxine “Brain Vitamin”:

  • Helps regulate mood and may aid in sleep disorders
  • Helps regulate homocysteine levels in the blood- an amino acid directly linked to heart disease
  • Essential for producing amino acids and in normal brain development and function.
  • Studies suggest that it helps alleviate inflammation in autoimmune disorders such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.

B12 (Methylcolbalamin):

B12 is an essential vitamin that’s crucial for maintain energy levels, it beneficial to your metabolism by converting carbohydrates into usable glucose in the body. Glucose from carbohydrate foods is used as a form of energy. this the reason that why people with vitamin B12 deficiencies often experience Fatigue. It also helps prevent memory loss and lowers risk of neurodegenerative disease. Because of its role in nerve health and neurotransmitter signaling, Vitamin B12 benefits cognitive function. It is used to lower the risk in certain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

B12 is needed to help produce a healthy level of red blood cells. It helps prevent Megaloblastic anemia, which results in symptoms like chronic fatigue and weakens. B12 deficiency is believed to be on the most common nutrient deficiencies in the world, especially among people taking stomach acid -altering medications and antibiotics frequently, along with the elderly and vegans/vegetarians.

Usage: Pernicious anemia, allergies, asthma, canker sores, atopic dermatitis, diabetic neuropathies, sciatica, fatigue, depression, insomnia, herpes zoster(shingles), psoriasis

L. Carnitine:

Carnitine is a substance that helps the body turn fat into energy. A naturally occurring amino acid made in the liver and kidneys where it’s then stored in the skeletal muscles, heart and brain. Usually, our bodies can make all the Carnitine it needs, some people, however, may not have enough carnitine because their bodies cannot make enough or transport it into tissues so it can be used.

Usage: Potent fat burner, helps to fight visceral fat (fat that is in the abdominal cavity and surrounds vital organs), helps to improve high intensity work capacity, increase athletic performance, speed up your recovery from intense exercise, prevents oxidative stress that leads to long term health problems such as cardiovascular heart disease, diabetes, and chronic inflammation

Glutathione:

Glutathione is the most important antioxidant in the body since it resides in the cell. It is known as the “mother of all antioxidants” and a “master detoxifier.” Glutathione is an amino acid that is made in the liver. It helps facilitate recycling of vitamin C and E, optimizing performance of the antioxidant system. Humans have fairly adequate levels of glutathione in the body, but we constantly use and recycle the reserves to combat stressors (ex. Unhealthy diet, overindulgence, physical stress, fatigue, mental stress). Over time, our bodies cannot recycle glutathione as fast as it uses it.

Glutathione Usage:  Detoxification, antioxidant, antiviral, chelation of some heavy metals, cancers, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Multiple sclerosis.  In sports recovery it helps decrease muscle damage, reduce recovery times, increase strength and endurance and shift metabolism from fat production to muscle development.

IV Glutathione is the most reliable source of external glutathione and is 100% absorbed vs oral glutathione which is heavily broken down in the gut.

L. Glutamine:

L. Glutamine is an amino acid (a building block for proteins), is found naturally in the body. Glutamine is a vital fuel source for the intestines and immune system that help keep defenses up against microbes. By nourishing the cells, it maintains the integrity of the GI tract. It is essential to proper function of the immune system and plays a role in digestion and brain health.

Usage: Enhance exercise performance, as well as aiding in the following conditions: Irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, anxiety, depression and insomnia

Magnesium Sulfate:

A mineral in the body that is a cofactor in more them more then 300 enzyme reactions that regulate the body including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood sugar control and blood pressure regulation.  Magnesium deficiency is thought to be a biomarker of chronic stress.

Usage:  Migraine prophylaxis may help ease active migraines; considerably reduce severity of the attacks and may also help the rate of reoccurrence. Asthma prevention- relaxes the airways and thus acts as a bronchodilator.  Magnesium also helps ease back pain and cramps- reduces inflammation, relaxes muscles and blood vessels.

Magnesium may help prevent heart attack- lowering blood pressure by relaxing the smooth muscle tissues that dilate the arteries. Magnesium has also been known to help improve sleep which in turn can help to increase energy and endurance.

Biotin:

Biotin is a co-enzyme and a B vitamin and is also known as Vitamin H. It helps improve keratin which is the basic protein that makes up hair, skin and nails. Deficiency can cause brittle hair and hair loss.

Usage: Aiding in healthy sweat glands, treating acne and eczema, strengthens hair and nails, aids in preventing hair loss, increases metabolism and speeds up weight loss.

Calcitriol:

Man Made active form of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol)

Vitamin D is a vitamin stored in the body that is needed for building and keeping strong bones. Your body produces vitamin D naturally when its exposed to sunlight and therefore named the “sunshine Vitamin”.  Vitamin D has several important functions, perhaps the most vital are regulating absorption of calcium and phosphorous and facilitating normal immune system function.

Usage: Vitamin D can help with regulating mood and warding off depression, Studies have shown that a vitamin D deficiency was more common in people with fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. Vitamin D also can boost weight loss, improve heart disease markers, and offers immune system support during the cold and flu season.

BCAA:

Branch chain amino acids consist of 3 essential acids

  1. Leucine: has the biggest impact on your body’s capacity to build muscle proteins.
  2. Isoleucine: assists body in the utilization of ketone bodies and fatty acids- a critical process for fat mobilization and utilization.
  3. Valine: produces energy and regulates blood sugar

BCAAs are considered essential because, unlike non-essential amino acids, you body cannot make them. Therefore, it is essential to get them from your diet. Together they represent around 35-40% of all essential amino acids making the skeletal muscle.

Usage: BCAA may reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness and increase endurance exercise capacity. For endurance athletes- it has been shown to increase lactate threshold which is a point where exercise stops using oxygen systems as a primary fuel source.

Calcium:

Calcium in found in many foods. The body needs Calcium to maintain strong bones and carry out many important functions. The bones and teeth contain over 99% of the calcium in the human body. Calcium is also found in the blood, muscles, and other tissues. The calcium in the bones can be used as reserve that can be released into the body as needed. But as we age, the concentration of calcium tends to decline and it is released from the body through skin cells, sweat and waste. In addition, as women age, absorption of calcium starts to decline due to lower estrogen levels.

Usage: Weakened bones (osteoporosis) which can also be caused by corticosteroid drugs. Parathyroid gland disorder (hyperparathyroidism). Reducing symptoms of PMS (premenstrual syndrome). Aid in hypertension, and high cholesterol, and help maintain a healthy body weight.

Taurine:

A non-essential amino acid (manufactured in the body) found in large amounts in the heart, brain, and blood cells called platelets.  Taurine has been mainly used as an antioxidant and to improve athletic performance especially in cycling ability.

Usage: Athletic performance, used for lack of sleep and mental performance, reduces muscle soreness in combination with the branch chain amino acids. Taurine has also been used in Congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and cystic fibrosis.

C Q10 enzyme:

CoQ10 is an antioxidant found in most living things and is used by our cells to process energy and function properly. Natural CoQ10 decreases as we age. Our cells use CoQ10 to help turn energy we consume from carbohydrates into ATP, the form of energy or cells use to carry out many critical functions in the body. ATP is essential for healthy metabolism, bones, and neurological and muscle functioning. CoQ10 also functions as an antioxidant with vitamins C and E and selenium to help prevent free radical damage to our cells.

Usage: Help with treating high blood pressure, enhancing immune system function, improving symptoms of chronic fatigue, reducing high cholesterol, treating age related macular degeneration, treating and preventing and treating migraines. It is also great for athletes for its energy-restorative capabilities.

0.9% Saline Solution:

0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection USP is a sterile solution of sodium chloride (NaCl, more commonly known as salt) in water. Used for overall dehydration.

Lactated Ringers:

Contains electrolytes, substances necessary for cell functioning, such as sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride and calcium chloride. Used to maintain fluid volume or replace large fluid losses quickly. Can be used for severe vomiting, diarrhea, excessive sweating and the inability to drink fluids.
