Meet Tracy Koval, Office Manager
Tracy joined the Burick Center for Health & Wellness in June of 2016 to help patients by managing various aspects of the office. Tracy brings more than three decades of medical office experience as the former office manager of a multi-specialty group and also works on a part-time basis as a Patient Service Rep at a local urgent care center.
Tracy’s favorite part of working in a medical practice is the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life by helping them navigate through the maze of health care. She loves being part of the dynamic team at the Burick Center.
Tracy likes to spend time with her family. She has two sons, Mason, who is living and working in Philadelphia as a Sr. Analyst for a marketing firm, and Spencer, who works at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
Meet Kristin Bloom, Registered Nurse
Kristin is a nurse at Burick Center for Health & Wellness. Kristin’s nursing philosophy is to be an effective advocate for her patients. She believes we should empower and engage patients as active partners in their own care through goal setting, education and mutual respect. She enjoys working with patients to provide the best holistic care possible while also providing high quality critical nursing care.
Kristin enjoys working at the Burick Center because it is an environment that allows her to spend devoted time with her patients, perform research, encourage holistic care, and allows her the freedom to collaborate closely with other providers and staff to provide the best patient care possible.
Kristin has an Associate’s Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College as a Registered Nurse and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Millersville University.
Kristin is married with a child and has three fur babies. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, gardening and training with her two German Shepherds.
Meet Kelly Fickett, Registered Nurse
Kelly is the IV infusion nurse at Burick Center for Health & Wellness. Her nursing philosophy is based on providing competent, empathetic, compassionate and optimal holistic care while honoring patient values.
She plays a direct role in helping someone look and feel their best. She loves helping patients who may arrive at their absolute worst feel better when they leave. Many of her patients who receive IV therapy for pain or chronic issues come back and tell her they are able to do things they weren’t able to do before the infusions.
Kelly has an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Harrisburg Community College.
She is married and has five children who keep her busy with swim meets and baseball games. She enjoys hiking, being outside and spending time with her family.
Meet Robin Guido, Registered Nurse
Robin is a nurse at the Burick Center for Health & Wellness. Her nursing philosophy is first and foremost to be a patient advocate. By utilizing clear communication, on-going education, critical thinking, innovation, and creativity, she finds the best path for each patient to better their outcomes and overall wellness. She strives to provide the highest quality nursing care possible while simultaneously providing a respectful and holistic healing environment. She believes nursing is about compassion and trying to understand human beings on an emotional, physical and spiritual level while being committed to life-long learning to better herself and her overall nursing knowledge.
Robin loves working at the Burick Center because she has time to talk to, educate and help patients with issues that most other nurses would not have time to do. She also learns something new every day that makes her a better nurse and a better person.
Robin has an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Nursing CPR, ACLS from Harrisburg Area Community College.
She is married and has three adult children. She loves to travel take photographs, read and bake.
Meet Ashley Weibley, Registered Nurse
Ashley is a nurse at Burick Center for Health & Wellness. Her nursing philosophy is one of holistic care. She is a patient advocate committed to clear communication, education and applying critical thinking and decision-making skills to help patients achieve better outcomes. She enjoys providing the highest quality nursing care in a respectful, healing environment. She has a personal commitment to life-long learning through formal education and hands-on experience. She appreciates that compassion along with innovative care is what the Burick Center for Health & Wellness is all about.
Ashley has an Associate’s Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and a Bachelors Degree from Penn State University.
She is married and has twin boys, She enjoys spending time with her friends, family and pets. She has owned and shown Quarter Horses all of her life and continues to compete in her spare time.
Meet Kandace Speicher, Registered Nurse
Kandace earned her Bachelor’s Degree from York College. She has experience in wound care and IV therapy.
Kandace is married and has an amazing daughter. She loves hiking with her family. She also enjoys fiber arts, her book club, gardening and most of all, travel!
Meet Nicole Nardi, Registered Nurse
Nicole joined the IV team at the Burick Center for Health and Wellness in December 2019. Her nursing philosophy is one of “treat everyone like family”. She is committed to providing compassionate nursing care.
Nicole holds an Associates Degree in nursing from Harrisburg Area Community College and is currently pursuing a BSN through Millersville University.
Nicole is married with four adult children. She and her husband enjoy music and spending time with their children.
Meet Doris Durf, Patient Coordinator
Doris helps patients check-out after their visits provides assistants to the nurses when needed. Doris appreciates the professionalism of the Burick Center for Health & Wellness. She enjoys interacting with patients and knows they appreciate the extra step we take in helping with their health care.
Doris is a Medical Assistant, with a 2-year degree in the medical arts from Thompson Institute & Harrisburg Area Community College.
Doris is married and has one daughter and two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, reading, swimming and cooking. She also loves animals.
Meet Rena Geesaman, Patient Coordinator
Rena Geesaman is a Registered Medical Assistant who enjoys providing attentive and caring client service. She is very happy to be part of the Burick Center team where patient care is our number one focus.
Her goal is to do everything within her power to ensure every interaction leaves you feeling well cared for and perhaps even delighted.
Rena volunteers by serving as board treasurer for Carlisle Christian Academy. She also helps facilitate a program at River of God Church for single, pregnant girls which provides practical, emotional and spiritual support.
Outside of the office Rena enjoys hiking, traveling, tending to her flower beds, hosting meals on their back deck, enjoying time with dear friends, loving on her little dogs, and best of all spending time with family. Being fairly new grandparents, she and her husband Don are always happy to share pictures of their little grandson, Lucas. Feel free to ask! She considers herself amazingly blessed!
Meet Hope Gregor, Patient Coordinator
As a Patient Coordinator, Hope works at the check-out desk and loves making people feel at home and relaxed. She has a big smile for everyone as they finish their visits. Interacting with patients who are happy to be part of the practice is one of the pleasures of her job. In addition to appreciating the warm, comfortable environment of the practice, she enjoys being part of such a caring, friendly team.
Hope has Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She enjoys spending time with her dog, listening to audible books and taking tap dancing lessons. She has on her bucket list to visit South America which will be the fifth continent she has visited.
Meet Lee Morand, Psy, D.
Lee has had the sincere pleasure of working in the Greater Harrisburg area for over 20 years. She relocated to Harrisburg in 1990 after completing her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Pre-Med at Cornell University. Lee received her first Master’s Degree from Shippensburg University. Her second Master’s Degree, as well as Doctorate, were both from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She uses a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to guide her work with clients across the lifespan. She strongly believes research has shown that changing your thoughts does change your life. Her primary focus with clients is to reduce symptoms by assisting clients to achieve skills they can utilize in their professional, academic, and personal lives.
Meet Felicia Miller, Nutritionist
Felicia Miller is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist who provides nutritional counseling and education to patients of the Burick Center for Health & Wellness. Recognizing that there are multiple components to creating a successful plan, she looks at the whole person – their concerns, lifestyle, personality, family and career.
She is happy to be part of the Burick Center because everyone has such great energy and dedication. She appreciates how each staff member goes out of their way to get to know every person and how they all work together to meet patients’ health and wellness needs.
Felicia enjoys cooking and experimenting with new ingredients and recipes. She has two dogs and has been learning about canine nutrition. For the past 20 years, she had been an active volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Central PA. She finds working with patients and the community very rewarding.
Meet Dr. Peter Lu, Acupuncturist
Dr. Peter Lu trained and worked in New York City for 15 years and recently moved to central PA. He studied pre-med at Brooklyn College and attended medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. Thereafter he worked in the inner city hospitals of New York City, and lastly had the honor of caring for people with his sister in Stamford, Connecticut.
Dr. Lu greatly appreciates open lines of communication as it pertains to questions you may have about your ailment and how acupuncture could help in the healing process. His intention to address your needs to the best of his ability.
Meet William Mann, LMT, Massage Therapist
William Mann is a licensed massage therapist with the Burick Center for Health & Wellness. He believes each person’s body is unique therefore every treatment should be unique as well. His main goal is to find the root cause of a patient’s issue so he can create a plan that will help alleviate issues and improve wellness. His ultimate goal is to help you lead a happy and healthy life.
William graduated from Baltimore School of Massage and holds several certifications from the Upledger Institute and Barral Institute. He has specialized training in Medical Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Neural and Visceral Manipulation Therapy, and Fascial Therapy. He uses all of his gathered knowledge to help benefit patients in every way possible.
When William is not working he loves to travel and see the world. He loves to travel to new countries and see how they approach massage therapy and incorporate it to the lives and culture of their people. He is committed to continue to grow his knowledge and education.
Meet Heather Motter, LMT, Massage Therapist and Back Desk Coordinator
Heather Motter joined the Burick Center team in 2018. A graduate of YTI Career Institute, Heather prides herself on using her highly developed skills to maintain the balance between mind and body. As a licensed massage therapist, she specializes in Medical Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Oncology Massage.
Heather has a vast amount of experience working with a variety of patients. From a simple relaxation massage to a patient dealing with chronic pain, Heather is able to facilitate treatments uniquely designed for each patient’s individual needs.
Heather insists that massage is not just a relaxation luxury. Instead, her philosophy is that massage helps lead to a healthier, happier lifestyle. She encourages everyone to take the time to meet with her to develop a care plan to enhance their overall wellness.
Heather is a resident of Carlisle, where she resides with her fiancé, two sons, and four dogs. When she’s not at work, she can be found outside working on her back yard oasis, or volunteering at Speranza Animal Rescue.
Meet Coral, Office Mascot
Coral joined the Burick Center for Health & Wellness in July of 2011. As a third-generation Australian Labradoodle, her enthusiasm and eagerness to please make her perfect for her job of Office Mascot. In addition to greeting members, she brings a calming element to the office helping with stress management. Her favorite part of working at the Burick Center is that she can sleep on the job without getting in trouble. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys walks, trips to the beach and playing with her humans.
